160 characters in 41.52 seconds - New World Record
Ang Chuang Yang – a 16 years old Singaporean student – broke the Guiness World Record for the shortest time needed to type a 160-character SMS message with time of 41.52 seconds. He beated Ben Cook from US with 42.22 (from July 2006).

And here is the message he wrote:
“The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human.”
