"Shake it baby!" on your mobile phone
Yes. It’s real! The classic of the classics – Duke Nukem enters your mobile phone! This game offers everything you were used to from good old DN 3D (except the 3D).
Let’s check what’s inside. The game is a well-done 2D/3D hybrid. The characters are 2D, but the enviroment is 3D. It reminds me a little of Golden Axe (old PC game with “pseudo 3D” enviroment). You never expect miracles from java games. Niether had I, but I was surprised. The playability don’t decline. In fact it’s rising with every killed beast.
For those who are used to RPG-like quests… you’ll be disappointed. The main thing in this game is shooting, shooting… and.. reloading ;)
The gameplay is based on the fact that you meet new beast (or found new type of gun) every ten to twelwe minutes. The beast are well known from original version. Pigs, those damned jetpack-equiped creatures and more. Some of them are new.
There are 15 levels. Each one is different. The number of guntypes is 10 (yes, same as DN 3D). The music is very good and makes a good atmosphere.
I would recomend this game to all those who were played (and loved) the old Duke. Others will find just another 2D/3D action game.
