Elton John would like to be a hip-hop rapper
Elton John published, that he would like to cooperate with Dr.Dre and his new album would contain some hip-hop songs. He’s releasing an album next month, called The Captain And Yhe Kid and he’s already thinking of some new stuff.
He told Rolling Stone:
“I want to bring my songs and melodies to hip-hop beats — a bit like no ‘No Diggity’ by Blackstreet. I love these beats, but I have no idea how to get them.
I want to work with Pharrell, Timbaland, Snoop, Kanye, Eminem and just see what happens. It may be a disaster, it could be fantastic, but you don’t know until you try.”
I have to admit that I’m curious, because I absolutely adored his cooperation with 2Pac in Ghetto Gospel, which finally beated the Crazy Frog in 2005. I hope the new one will do the same ;)
