iPhone won’t be!

A big surprise for me Apple doesn’t own the iPhone trademark. The rightfully owner of the trademark is Cisco. It means that Apple can’t set the new phone as a iPhone and the phone will have to be named something else. It is a big loss for Apple, because the name has been built up by blogs and the mainstream press, to stand for the most highly coveted piece of vapor, ever.

That’s sad. I hope Cisco and Apple come to an agreement but it will probably cost Apple a lot of money.

  2. That’s for sure :) Nothing is for free :P
