Mobloging mania!? Part One
Moblog, mobloging, mobloger – these therms are “in” these days. Mobloging means publishing some informations online using your mobile phone. Regardless if it’s text or pictures. Mobloging is definetely a new phenomon. It is believed to be started by Tom Vilmer Paamand (his webpage), who send posts to his webpage via SMS in May 2000. The SMS was re-send as an email to his adress and little script did the rest of the work. There were some other people trying to do it, but none of them used ordinary mobile phone.
The times have changed and we can use more sofisticated assets. There are some specialised services you can use. For example: Moblog UK or Angelfire. And some services,that offer moblog in addition to regular service – for example Flickr. There are also some pieces of hardware which can do the job for you. We’ll focus on them in part two of this post.
