The N95 is official!
As I’ve written before, the new smartphone from Nokia signed on first pictures as N83 is officially called N95 (as expected). It’s the only logical name due to it’s position in the N-class models. This is the Tip-Top model. Where to start describing? Let’s see.
Construction & Design
This is the first innovation. This model can be slided to both sides. Classical alphanumeric keyboard show up when slided up (default). And when slided down it reveals set of additional buttons. The construction is on very good manufactural level. All parts fit perfectly. The phone weight 120 grams.
As all smartphones this model’s design is nothing world-breaking. It’s clear and stylish. But the design is not the thing you’d be interrested in. Let’s see what comes next.
Camera
Oh, yea! This is the cherry on the cake. This smartphone is equpeed with 5 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA! There are no live pictures taken by it, but it will be great. That’s for sure. The optics come from prestigious manufacturer Carl-Zeiss. In dark is iontegrated flash very useful. The camera is protected by sliding cover. There is a set of buttons to control the camera on the top side of the phone. The buttons are heavily under-lighted when the camera is enabled.
Accessories & Connectivity
Another great idea is integrated GPS locator (which could be seen before in Motorola A780 and Siemens SXG 75). This one is equipped with fulll set of maps. Covering 100 countries and 15 million places of iterest.
Connectivity is ensured by Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE. Fast data in 3G – HSDPA (3,6Mbps) – are also enabled.
The Resume
Model overfilled with functions. And also useful details – 3,5mm jack for headphones output, loudspeakers and mini-USB connector. Want some more? Check the images.
