Brittish O2 comes with new model focused mainly to business customers. It’s called O2 Jet. The main difference from “ordinary” phones is that it lacks camera, MP3 player and MMS sending functionality (but can recieve MMS). It’ quite a surpirise, as long as this model has nearly 60MBs of memory. Business orientation is highly noticable in integrated IMAP4 and POP3 email client. It’s working wold-wide, because of all GSM bands support. Surprisingly, this model is not equipped with HSDPA data connection, just EDGE and GPRS.
All the missing multi-media features caused, that this phone has enormous stamina. It can be in stand-by mode for 22 days! And can handle calls up to 10 hours long! This model will be out on 19/10/2006 for Brittish O2 in prepaid set for 59,99 pounds.
