I came across interesting information about a new handset concept. Synaptics, in partnership with industrial design studio Pilotfish, collaborated in the design of the next-generation phone concept. The device should utilize touch-screen technology to do away with the traditional mobile keypad absolutely, using Synaptics’ ClearPad, a touch sensitive device that recognizes taps, points and complex gestures.
Enabled through Synaptics clear, capacitive sensing technology, Onyx illustrates the future of mobile communications by combining an intelligent and adaptive user interface with sleek industrial design and next-generation user interaction design.
