Saints are comming - U2 & Green Day
About.com published the list of Top 10 Pop Music Videos of 2006. Where the Saints are comming music video was #4. It was only beaten by the #1 Arctic Monkeys’ When the sound goes down, telling a tale of one of the forgotten people of the night. It’s really good work. The cutting is awesome and the speed 100% correspond with the music. Just great. #2 – Pink’s Stupid Girls is a great satiric look at nowadays musical and cultural life. It funny and sad in the same time. And #3 Christina Aguilera – Hurt is also very moving story about how the fame changes people. And on the #4 is U2 & Green Day and Saints are comming. The music video is partly recorded on stage, partly in studio and some cuts are also from the huricane-destroyed New Orleans (Stealth bombers over New Orleans and the refrain Saints are coming, the sains… that makes me shiver a bit). I’m quite surprised. The song is 200% cool, but the video is…um… good and ordinary. What do you think? Leave a comment. But the James Blunt’s You’re Beautiful is cool. It’s about just… nothing. 3 mins of James taking his clothes off. And finally he jumps into the sea. Wow :D
