Mirror, mirror on the wall...
The first truly stylish clamshell phone from Sony Ericsson comes with interresting external display and also a functions that are better than those that comes with it’s competitors. The main crowd-pullers are 2MPix camera, 3G net support and interresting design. SE oriented the production mainly on Walkmans, preffered mainly by men. By tjis one they try to affect women. The front side of the phone looks nearly like a pocket mirror. The most stylish thing (except the mirror-like design) is IMO the “invisble” display integrated in the front side, that is in the suspend mode only hardly visible and doesnt disturb the appearance of the phone. There are not only pros, there are also some cons. Missing autofocus (only CyberShot models), infraport and EDGE support.
The 610i is available inblack, pink and light blue. Colored is the only front- and back-case the sides are white and so is the internal part around the keyboard and display. The design is very pleasant. The polished front side is however vulnerable to the fingerprints and dust . And it’s nearly impossible not to touch it when opening the phone.
The keyboard is blue-underlighted and the navigation key is white-underlighted. There are two buttons for volume regulation on the side and one with paly/pause function. The internal display has 176×220 points and 262,000 colors and it offers exceptional readability even on direct sunlight. The battery will last for nearly four days (*15mins call/day, 5hrs music playback and some SMS*). And finally some interesting features: integrated RSS reader and FaceWrap application
You will get only USB cable, driver CD and 64MB MS Micro (to expand 20MB internal memory) in the package by default.
