U2 & Green Day cover of Abbey Road
Yesteday’s performance of U2 & Green Day in New Orleans proved, that they can cooperate very well. They cooperated before when recording cover of The Skids’ The Saints Are Coming. In the meantime they got the idea to cover the Abbey Road by The Beatles. The U2 photographer Anton Corbijn also recreated the famous snap from the Abbey Road cover with zebra crossing. On the new one U2 and Green Day are comming from oposite directions before shaking their hands in the middle.
The collaboration will raise money for a fund called Music Rising. Collecting money for those who lost instruments in Hurricane Katrina last year.

We were in front of Abbey Road Studios when Green Day and U2 came out and stopped traffic in the crosswalk. We have video of the event posted at http://www.locopost.com
